A beautiful historic house and dignified interior.|The hotel is on top of a hill, and because of that, there are also nice views from the window and also quiet.|Very good breakfast (for Italy).||The pool is a good size, but it is an indoor …
The service and hotel surrounding were wonderful. The staff was kind and helpful! The beds were comfortable. The views from both the front and rear of the hotel are beautiful and diverse. The food was in the restaurant was very good! Breakfast was a great spread of local favorites and delicacies.
Been there this month for a one day escape … hotel is amazing .. mix of cluture and modern comforts.. THE BEST FRONT OFFICE TEAM|“Devin, Nico “.. makes the hotel feels you better than home. And Lucia ( i think thats the name ) from …
Absolutely horrible accommodations…. Specifically,
We had the unfortunate experience of staying in this hotel. In the weeks leading up to the conference, we’d researched the information on the hotel website and expected to be enveloped in beautiful grounds, warm ambience, panoramic views, sleeping or sitting on time captured furniture pieces. To our chagrin, we’d stepped into one of the most horrific hotel experiences of our time. Before arriving, we had even considered extending our stay to a second night to relax and enjoy a certain elegance. However, this thought was soon put to rest as we found the accommodations completely ghastly. The hotel is classified as four-star but provides one-star accommodation services.
Firstly, we had to wait to early afternoon to enter the room. Our luggage was placed in the room by the staff (assuming) and there’s an objection to this as I will explain. Secondly, there was no mention that the room was more adapted for handicapped guests with some limitations. Foremost, (handicap or not), we were in the attic and the room had no window. Even the “sky roof” does not allow the guest to look at the sky. In addition, the room has no bidet. Just about any typical hotel in Italy would provide this amenity. Last but not least, the very simple antiquated shower, that you would not expect from a “four-star hotel” contributed to more water being on the entire bath floor than the guest wanting to have a relaxing shower. Moreover, I believe for sanitary purposes, plastic shower curtains were phased out ages ago; I felt the plastic shower curtain had been used by other guests. The room did not even have an appropriate bath mat.
In regards to the food provided, uncooked pasta lunch was served at lunch. It was not al dente, it was uncooked. As for dinner, I was not served what was indicated on the menu. Although all the conference attendees were served branzino (as indicated), I was served uncooked, tasteless-vomit looking merluzzo. Needless to say, it was presented in the most unappealing manner one might can imagine. The smell was offsetting and it was downright awful. Additionally, the wine served was very modest at best. Additionally, the wine served was very modest at best and the lasagna with peas left one feeling that the chef had gone on vacation and something was put together at the last minute with no ingredients by the staff.
On a positive note, the staff was professional and available. Even though the receptionist made the argument that as we were not available to see another room, they decided against the room change. As we had had our luggage taken to room without seeing the room, as we had a previous appointment, I think the two light pieces of luggage could have been easily moved. I found this excuse to be a bit flimsy.
Side note: Other guests had similar room complaints but managed to have a room change. Unfortunately there were even elderly conference guests that were required to take stairs in their room to go to use the bathroom.
All in all, we rate our accommodations and food experience completely unsatisfactory and hope not to ever have another conference in this facility.
Set in a beautiful scenic area this hotel offers stylish well appointed rooms and ensuites. A quiet setting to relax in. Transport by public bus to Vicenza via a picturesque route takes 15 minutes if you don’t have a car. Buffet breakfast with lots to choose from and the on site restaurant is good.
Vicenza is a great central hub to stay at and venture out each day via train or car to amazing places such as Bologna, Padova, Milan and Venice.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Really nice place if you want peace and quite. They have a restaurant and bar on location. Rooms are your typical European size and the people that work the desk are extremely helpful. The only thing I didn't like was its not really walking distance to anything. It's two miles from the city but it's down a road that can only fit one car but somehow is a two way street full of sharp turns. But all in all, a very pleasant experience.
Ladies lunch outdoors on the patio. Beautiful ambiance. Waitstaff was prompt and kind. 4* as the food was just ok… the ambiance is what we loved. Will be back for wine in the evening and use of the pool!
Very nice hotel with awesome views from the mountain. Room spacious and clean. Stuff very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the food was quiet overpriced and not always tasty. The breakfast was ok but I expect more offerings from a hotel like this. It was not many options available
Let's start with the excellent: a wonderfull villa with a really stunning view upon two valleys that make you feel you are in a famed "relais & chateau": the building is just beautifull and the hotel's public areas are just beautifull and …
Very nice villa! I mean, it is like a castle! The location is very beautiful! You have a big garden where you enjoy your breakfast in the morning sun!
